Life member
Guess who are life members of the Penn State Alumni
Association....that's right, Joni and I are now paid life members...if
you are an alum and get the magazine, look for our names in the list of
new life members. The benifits that we were mainly after is the
ability to get alumni seats for the football games. We've already
paid for tickets for two games this year, the home opener which would
be nice to go to because it's a long weekend, and Ohio State which is
MY big game. That one is an away game, but I have a friend in
Columbus who will show us around and get us to where we need to
be. Unfortunately, we won't know weather or not we get the
tickets for a while as they still haven't cashed our checks yet and
it's pretty much a first come first serve deal. I'll keep my
fingers crossed.
In other news, I put some pictures of our new lot online, see webshots. It's under the New House heading. I think you'll agree that it's a damn fine lot (not to mention a damn fine camera that took the pictures!). It measures 145 feet from the curb to the back of the property line, but from there there is an additional 15 feet of tree save, and then a 15 foot right of way. the lot is nearly 80 feet wide then there is 15 feet on the side where the secondary entrance to the development is. I just can't wait until it's done, I'm so excited about this place!
