Back in the saddle again

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  We had a great trip to Atlanta, well, not Atlanta...45 minutes OUTSIDE of Atlanta, but we got to see most of the family and I think we all had a good time.  We did go through downtown Atlanta one day on our trip and all I can say is WOW!  It really makes Raleigh look like a one-stop-light-town, we went through the outskirts of the city the first night and I thought that was downtown...and even that had more then Raleigh.  I could see myself living there, but I don't think I could ever convince Joni.  So anyway, we had the usual spread one would find for a Thanksgiving feast and I naturally stuffed myself silly.  Every time I turned around I was eating something else, I really need to get that gym membership and start running again.  <20 minutes have elapsed> And I'm officially a member of the Fitness Center.  My card won't be active for a few hours, but I should be able to use it tonight.  That works out well since I have a meeting from 5-6pm I'll just go down to the gym after and get home just in time for the Discovery Channel "3 hours of power" (Monster House, Monster Garage, American Chopper), they don't officially call it that, but I think they should!

The house is coming along faster then we can keep up with it.  We went yesterday to put the wall plates on the outlets we ran and see what had happened.  The countertops are on, the sink is in and water is running.  We officially have a dishwasher, toilets and bathroom sinks (and great water pressure in the bathrooms!) so we're getting closer.  We do a final walk through on the 9th with is next week and then close in just over two weeks!  I can't wait to become homeowners!

Ugh!  Duty calls so I have to cut this post short...I'll write more later.
