The day that wouldn't end

I'll get to the day that wouldn't end in a minute, but is anyone else seeing huge latency issues with my website?  I type in www.hofftech.net and it takes almost 20 seconds to finally load the damn page...unacceptable!  If you wouldn't mind emailing me I'd appreciate it....if you click my name above and to the right, you can use my fancy email form otherwise just send to webmaster@hofftech.net.  (even you dialup people, Aunt Pat, Grandma Williams, Debbie can let me know if you see a huge difference)

Anyway...on to today...I thought for sure I'd be out of a job today.  The shiney new phone system I arranged to have installed died today...we couldn't receive calls to our business number for the better part of the day all because a little card that controls voicemail died.  Everyone who had voicemail on the system lost it, including my CEO, CFO/COO, and CTO.  None of them were thrilled about that, I heard the word fuck many a time from them today.  I felt like it was my fault even though there was absolutely no way I could have caused/prevented this from happening.  It's fixed now and I'm certainly over it...but still there was a time there where I expected to have to pack my shit and vacate the premises.  In addition, our application still no workie on Nextel, that's the programmers fault, but I was sort of put in charge of that; I don't know how, but I was.  Then we have the normal mish mash of whiney customers and not-so-apt users to fill in all the gaps.  I'm basically beat right now and I didn't even get to go to the gym like I'd hoped.  Maybe tomorrow.

We still have a ton of unpacking and setting up to do tonight, but I really don't want to, of course if I don't do that, I'll be forced into going to Bed Bath and Beyond for house stuff and I want to do that even less.  I've managed to stop the bleeding of money, but I'm sure it's only temporary.  I don't suppose too much else is going on here...or it is and I'm just too tired to think of it.
