Man, if I am going to get good at this b'logging thing then I need to get on the ball.  I promise start posting more!  At any rate, my dad came up this weekend from South Carolina to inspect the building quality of our home builder.  I think he was all in all pleased.  There are several points that he brought up that we will have to discuss with our builder, shouldn't be anything major. 
    Most importantly, I got my big screen TV!!!  It's a Hitachi UltraVision and it's 50 inches!  It's not the TV of my dreams, but it will tide me over for a year or two till I get it!  We had to re-arrange our living room to make it fit, but now it looks great.  So does the component rack I built (if I do say so myself). 
    On the employment front...things are going well, perhaps a little too well.  I have two companies fighting over me, which is flattering to say the least.  I already accepted one offer, but I will recind if the other company beats it by a significant amount.  Guess I will just have to wait and see, if I don't know something by the end of the week then I will be the newest employee of a Triangle based company called BuildLinks where I will be the System Administrator.  On the other hand IBM is putting together an offer where I will serve as a Hardware Engineer (making significantly more).  I'll keep you posted.
