I just upgraded our internet package last night!  Which, come to think of it, I probably shouldn't have had to..but whatever.  We were paying $45.00 for standard access DSL which gave us 1.5Mbps and 256Kbps download and upload speeds respectively.  We are now paying $44.95 (go figuree) for 3.0Mbps and 384Kbps download/upload which will be a huge increase!  AND I'll get a static IP address which will be good for my job (if I added static IP to our regular plan it would have been $14.95???)  because we use a firewall that filters on IP address and if I have to reboot or get bounced from the internet then in all likelyness my IP will change and I'd have to either drive to the datacenter or to durham in the event of some work type emergency.  It should take effect tomorrow, at which point Time Warner can kiss my ass as I'll have no reason to switch to "shared" cable modem!
    Took our last dance class last night and finished with a bang!  I think we did quite well, and so did the instructor.  Now we just need to take some time to practice outside of class.  Melany, our instructor, is going to email us some song titles in the right "time" so we can make sure the DJ has them at the wedding.  We're considering another class, since there cheap and short, but we'll have to wait and see. 
    I got most of the necessaries for my RC car yesterday...now I just need the truck?!?!  I'm going to email them today and see if/when my item shipped.  I am one impatient MoFo.  I've always been in the mindset that anyone who purchases on ebay, and pays instantly is the first to get their merchandise; that holds true whether I'm the buyer or the seller, but especially when I'm the buyer! 
    Damn that just reminded me I need to call Litmans (sp?) jewlers and find out where my damn wedding ring is!!!   I don't think they open until 9 so I hope I can remember for the next 10 minutes!
